Spooky Space is a planetarium show that explores the cosmic connections to Halloween and features space counterparts to Halloween characters. The show may also include information about the celestial origins of Halloween and how it's an astronomical holiday. The show is suitable for ages 5+, but great for almost all ages and costumes are welcome!

We were so fortunate to be part of Willards Trunk or Treat! We enjoyed seeing all the families and costumes!

In honor of October being Fire Prevention Month, several members of the Pittsville Volunteer Fire Department visited our elementary students.
There will be a change in the breakfast menu for tomorrow (Thursday, 10/9) and Friday.
Congratulations to the PBIS Students of the Month for September. September's monthly character trait was community -- building a tolerant environment where everyone feels accepted and respected. These students were nominated by their teachers for following the 4 B's and "growing the Wildcat Way, on purpose"!

PEMS will be joining Willards during their Trunk or Treat event. If you are interested in donating packaged candy or store-bought treats, drop them off at either school office. If you would like to decorate a trunk for the actual event, please send a message to the PTA of Willards or Pittsville. See the flyer for addresses!
Please ask your child for their progress report or login to Family Portal. Discuss their successes and how to keep up the momentum or how to make improvements. Thank you for your support!
Note for Wednesday, Oct. 1: Term 1 mid-term progress reports will come out Oct. 1 for students in grades 1-12. Be sure to review the progress report with the student to celebrate successes and set goals at the midpoint of the marking term.
We would like to thank Adopt-a-Block for helping us re-stock our food pantry for any family in need. Their generosity allows us to help families and students in need.
We have a ton of fresh yellow squash so please let us know if you would like some or just come around the car rider loop at pick up what you want. We don't want any of it to go to waste!
